Overview

The Operations Systems Analyst is responsible for tracking metrics and working in software platforms for automation systems to drive operational efficiency, inventory accuracy and process integration. Essential work duties include analytics and data driven based process improvement, executing strategic software changes and troubleshooting, acting as a liaison between automated MHE and adhering to safety and compliance policies, and fostering a positive working environment. The individual will also be responsible for evaluating current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and the slotting logic for all inventory in house. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of operational processes, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business operations.

Responsibilities

Communication:
-          Coordinate maintenance team and operations team during Material Handling equipment faults and process stoppages.
-          Creation of documents to include details of faults, stoppages, and product information relevant to shipping, receiving and inventory.
-          Able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills both independently and in teams.
-          Able to communicate effectively to operators and leadership teams in both written and verbally with appropriate frequency and messaging.

Process Improvement:
-          Analyze processes of storage retrieval systems and wave management systems in conjunction with sales and customer service to determine recommendations to improve efficiency.
-          Reducing process errors, while improving productivity, accuracy and minimizing out of stocks.
-          Use of Microsoft Excel to arrange and gather data about automation processes and procedures for daily reporting and action planning.

Operational Excellence:
-          Planning in conjunction for peak demand days capacity and productivity in all related areas of the operations.
-          Analyze output from automated systems, provide trending and performance reports.
-          Solving customer and related issues with operations and demand planning teams.
-          Completion of daily metrics and reports designed to streamline and optimize operational performance.

Results Orientation:
-          Review and revise incoming schedules and slotting solutions to maximize efficiencies
-          Reduce process errors, improve process results and  improve utilizations.
-          Ensure adherence to operational  standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $77,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
