Administrative Assistant - Warehouse Point of Sale

Overview

This position is meant to support the POS Supervisor administratively operate the POS Warehouse in an efficient and accurate manner. Must be organized, able to follow directions, multitask, detail oriented, computer literate (WORD & Excel), customer service oriented, bi-lingual (preferred), dependable and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

Yard View YMS Maintenance
·         Schedule all inbound and enter to Yard View
·         Communicate appts. In a timely manner to Carriers including date, confirmation #, time
·         Attention to the POS Email in box for receiving requests
·         Run reports as requested on inbound volume (pallets & pieces)
·         Generate daily receiving report on expected inbound for team members
·         Communicate to POS Supervisor & Manager deliveries which do not arrive
 
Data Entry Brand Muscle (BM) (Receiving, Movement Verification, Inventory Cycle Counting Reconciliation)
·         Enter Receiving information (blue sheets) into Brand Muscle
·         Accuracy is critical entering proper count either (case or each), bin location, description
·         Movement Reports – accuracy is critical when relocating an item from one bin to another.
·         All inputs Receiving & Movements are completed real-time the day received
·         Critical to audit receiving paperwork corresponds an inbound in Yard View
·         Inventory Reconciliation – whenever cycle counts are conducted this position will support entering physical counts into BM.  Discrepancies will be recounted based on criteria set up.

Customer Service
·         When either Operations Management, Warehouse Associates, Sales Management, Merchandisers Team, Trade Marketing, Suppliers or Carriers, enter office support them cordially and professionally
·         Support POS Warehouse Supervisor, POS Coordinator and POS Manager operate the daily business
·         Get assistance whenever needed
 
Troubleshooting
·         Problem solving and communicating is a daily occurrence:
·         Dealing with Warehouse Associates, POS Coordinator, POS Warehouse Supervisor or POS Manager issues timely
·         Entering Warehouse Operations – use caution, follow the 10 Safety Rules posted
·         Addressing inbound carrier issues with paperwork, appointments
·         Addressing inventory issues on the operation floor
·         Legibility of documentation when required
 
 
 

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $20 per hour to $23 per hour depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
